I'm Holly.

Mom to four of the sweetest kids I call my "chicklets". Married to my best friend for over 13 years. We have been blessed with a set of 3 year old triplets and have a 5 year old son to top it all off. Busy is my middle name. I multi task like no other. Somehow the things that should slow me down or get in the way just seem to make me more appreciative of what I have. I feel like I can do anything I put my mind to. I believe if you really want something you have to just go out and make it happen. Even though my life may be a bit of a juggling act with kids, laundry, dishes, and all the rest that goes along with being a stay at home parent, it is so very rewarding.

I have always been an artist in some form throughout my entire life. At a very young age I discovered I have a great gift. I could sing. Through music I expressed myself. I was lucky enough to have had a recording contract at age 20 with Adams Records in Vancouver B.C. I recorded one song that got some radio play throughout the lower mainland and the interior of B.C. I also adored art. My mother is an artist and has an art gallery in Saskatchewan. She is very talented and has always encouraged me to follow my dreams.

My Father was a professional Photographer for over 50 years. I always followed him around watching his every move. He taught me many things over the years about photography. He is my Father but also was my mentor. In grade seven I got a chance to make a pin hole camera out of a cardboard box. The images I took were very bad but I knew that this is what I wanted to do professionally.

Here I am. Doing what I love. Enjoying each and every moment of it all!

I wanted to include a few paragraphs that my beautiful Mother wrote about me as a person and as a photographer.

You enter a part of her world as you become slowly aware of her profound natural ability and experience that gradually includes you, as you become not only the subject, but also the participator in this beautiful creation of a melody that is taking form before your eyes. Your time is spent wandering in reflection through your thoughts and images as you find yourself interpreting your mood in photographic images dancing to the sound of the tune. You become the image and your photos are breathtaking. A memory of a photo experience that is more that just a photo shoot, as you are center stage in the creation of the day."
